Tribe Franko was born in Garankuwa, Pretoria on 01 August 1990. At the age of four he moved to Alexandra Township in Johannesburg and this is where the heart of music was bred. Tribe Franko is a self taught DJ/ Producer who is playing a sound that is initially designed for an eighty-year-old ear but yet touch that “child” within you. His type of music is the revolution of House Music in the era of this age. It is a jazz-fusion-soul-lounge-afro-deep house music all cooked and served in one plate for your ear to savor and one spice is used to this urban meal… that is tribe, ‘The Tribe From Franko’. A tribe of his own (hence the name). One hour given to this aspiring artist will change a soul as his gig is like a classroom and he is a teacher. Where his course covers the appreciation of, the listening skill and diversity towards music. He is an artist who can interpret a colour through a sound. A protégé I would call him but I would rather call him an aspiring maverick, Tribe Franko.

A dazzling song that will confuse yet encourage your soul to do what you strongly feel like doing at that present moment of hearing the piece. he also released “Cei Bei - Love will Save The Day” on Fistaz Mixwell’s latest disc, which the tune is signed under Soul Candi and Abicah Soul Recordings and is planning to bless us with more of his great and classic sounds.
